Blind EMbossing

An elegant and traditional embellishment
form the Embellish Printery, Sydney.
Blind embossing delivers a subtle non-printed
surface impression into paper, cardboard,
mounted fabric, timber and leather.
A blind embossed image is formed by stamping an
etched 6mm metal plate into the substrate surface with
up to 12 tonnes of pressure using a blocking press.
Blind embossing is most cost-effective for
medium to long-run productions or as a premium
embellishment for a single product.
